Fresh from their recent headline tour with special guest Mollie Marriott, and their previous UK tours supporting King King, and their Planet Rock Roadstars co-headline UK tour with Broken Witt Rebels, Norfolk rock’n’roll band, Bad Touch are pleased to announce that they will perform four rescheduled shows as main support for Skid Row in August 2018.
Also on the bill, as additional support, will be Aaron Buchanan and the Cult Classics. Dates include The Waterfront, Norwich (August 11), Rock City, Nottingham (August 15), Concorde 2, Brighton (August 19) and O2 Academy Bristol (August 20).
In 2017, Bad Touch were on high rotation on Planet Rock, the UK’s leading classic rock radio station, with their single “Baby Get It On” featuring Mollie Marriott - a cover of Tina Turner’s classic track written for her by Ike Turner (originally released on her second solo album “Acid Queen” in 1975).
“We’re excited to join Skid Row on their rescheduled tour dates in August,” says Bad Touch’s lead singer, Stevie Westwood. “Skid Row are a legendary rock band and it will be fantastic to perform in front of their fans. We can’t wait to show their fans what Bad Touch are made of.”
Bad Touch – the five-piece rock band from Norfolk released their second studio album Truth Be Told on Bad Touch Records in December 2016. The album features the single“99%” thatremixed for radio by engineer and co-producer, Chris Kimsey (The Rolling Stones, Killing Joke, Ten Years After).
Bad Touch’s current album, “Truth Be Told” celebrates classic rock with Southern boogie influences, with heavy guitar riffs and an iron-clad, tight rhythm section, in the great tradition of Black Crowes, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Led Zeppelin. The band have built up a formidable reputation as one of the UK’s premiere rock bands who consistently put on an energetic and compelling live show for their fans. Their commitment to their fans and their music not only reaches new heights, but also connects with new fans who are discovering their music for the first time.
